First Responders

First Responders like police, EMTs, firefighters, and miltary veterans are often exposed to severely intense experiences. These constant exposures can lead to PTSD and a variety of stress symptoms. As a former paramedic myself, I understand first-hand the type of stress you are coping with every day. You don't have to live like that anymore. There is a better way, and I can help get you there. I've helped turn people's lives around, and I can help you too.  You only need to show up with a willingness to change.

First Responders are typically exposed to
the following on a daily basis:

   - unnecessary/unexpected death
   - domestic violence
   - gang violence
   - assault, abuse: sexual, physical, emotional
   - overdoses, addictions
   - suicide / homicide
   - homelessness, extreme poverty

Family Members Benefit Also
While First Responders are certainly on the front-line, they are not the only ones affected by the exposures experienced at work and not the only ones who can benefit from therapy. Family members of First Responders can learn how to support and cope with the many issues that arise from their loved one's unique occupation. This can be done through individual, couples, or family counseling sessions. Please contact me with any special requests.
